BVLGARI FLAGSHIP STORE
Location | Milan
Year | 2025
Bvlgari opened a new space for its extraordinary creations in Via Montenapoleone, in the heart of Milan’s international luxury district. The boutique underwent a comprehensive renovation led by the renowned architect Peter Marino, resulting in a 280-square-meter space that exudes both innovation and tradition. The design pays homage to iconic figures of 1930s Milanese architecture, evident in features like the diamond-patterned ceilings and vaulted structures reminiscent of Villa Necchi Campiglio.
A standout feature of the interior is the bespoke glass boiserie developed by WonderGlass, which envelops the rooms with luminous sophistication. These handcrafted panels, composed of meticulously crafted cast glass, transform the walls into a shimmering architectural element. The boiserie plays with transparency and refraction, thanks to its silver effect, creating a dialogue between light and materiality that shifts throughout the day. Framed in architectural lines reminiscent of Milanese rationalism, the panels echo the geometric purity of Art Deco and bring a contemporary resonance to the historical references within the space.
Set against a palette of warm ochres, plush textiles, and iconic furniture pieces by Italian masters like Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi, the boiserie elevates the boutique into a sculptural, immersive environment, bridging the world of fine jewellery and collectible design, while embodying the spirit of bespoke luxury that defines the Bvlgari brand.
WonderGlass additionally manufactured the bespoke cast glass tables, and the lamp Kerià by Filippo Carandini for Nilufar.
