THROUGH THE CLOUDS

by FORNASETTI

Drawing inspiration from the ephemeral nature of daydreams, Through The Clouds presents a whimsical vision where delicate glass clouds float serenely above, accompanied by slender obelisks that emerge from within. The obelisks, finished in rich hues like malachite and red, serve as a nod to ancient Egyptian symbols of Ra, the sun god. Handcrafted in Italy, the design seamlessly blends printed and lacquered metal with blown glass, resulting in a piece that balances ethereal beauty with sculptural presence.

FORNASETTI

Founded in the Fifties in Milan, Fornasetti is a company internationally recognised for the design and decoration of finely crafted pieces of furniture. Artistic director Barnaba Fornasetti created the 'reinventions', new objects designed from scratch by himself, using themes taken from the historical archive with the same passion his father, Piero Fornasetti, had. Fornasetti has for a long time nurtured the dream of transcending the boundaries of design and applying decoration to other disciplines and worlds.
