Patchwork
On the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2026, WonderGlass and Locatelli Partners present Patchwork, a modular system in handcrafted cast glass designed for scalability and versatility. WonderGlass’s cast glass preserves the tangible trace of human touch: living surfaces, a dense and material transparency, and a weight that is perceived even before it is felt. It is a medium that demands conscious design to integrate into contemporary spaces, a close dialogue between those who craft it and those who inhabit it. From this shared vision, WonderGlass and Locatelli Partners have given shape to the concept of Patchwork.
Patchwork is a modular wall system composed of cast glass elements manufactured by WonderGlass, developed in collaboration with Locatelli Partners to be configured in a wide range of patterns and compositions. The “tessere” (tiles), are planar elements available in three variants, each with its own dimensions, thickness, and presence, that create a play of depth and three-dimensionality on the surface. The “listelli” (strips) are linear elements that provide rhythm and ensure continuity, making Patchwork adaptable to any architectural scale or project.
