LAKE COMO DESIGN FESTIVAL 2025

Voice of Fire is an installation that brings to life the many voices behind the art of glass. It is the voice of the furnace, where raw elements transform through heat and energy, but also the voice of the craftsmen, designers, and traditions that shape each piece. Created by WonderGlass for Lake Como Design Festival 2025 (from 14 to 21 September 2025), the project is presented within FRAGMENTS, a broader thematic reflection on heritage, matter and narrative.

At WonderGlass, we see glass not only as a material but as a vessel of memory, where fragments of tradition, technique and stories converge. Rooted in the heritage of the Veneto region, our works draw from historic glassmaking practices while engaging in contemporary dialogues with creatives from around the world. Each of these collaborators brings their own voice, perspective, and experience into the process.

Each piece becomes a living archive, where the unique properties of glass, its transparency, fragility and texture, allow layers of memory to transform into new narratives. Through this interplay of craft and concept, we aim to create objects that reconnect past and present, reawakening cultural threads embedded within the profound richness of glass.
