Using a thoughtful consideration of form and a unique understanding of contemporary life, Kim Colin and Sam Hecht create beauty out of utility in the products, furniture, and exhibitions they design. Together, Hecht, an industrial designer from London, and Colin, an architect from Los Angeles, have helped their clients produce items that display an understanding of both cultural relevance and spatial use. Their works are held in permanent collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York; Centre Pompidou, Paris; the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Design Museum, both in London.
