ARCHITETTURA PER FIORI

by RONAN BOUROULLEC

Uniting two crafts that shape materials at high temperatures, this series balances the weight of cast glass with the delicacy of enamelled ceramics. The glass traps light within its mass, while the ceramic responds with delicate and subtle enamels, whose depth and vibration are stunning. These three volumes, with their simple geometry, reveal their subtlety through depth of colours, and the shadows that the glass projects onto the ceramic, evoking the pictorial charge, light, and arrangement of Morandi’s still lifes.
